Open Call for Artists
CEPA and Big Orbit maintain an open call for artists to submit work for inclusion in our galleries, as well as periodic specific calls for entries.
- Work submitted for CEPA Gallery must be photography, photo-related, or media-related.
- Work submitted for Big Orbit can be in any media, though preference will be given to installation formats.
OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS: What to Submit
When submitting work for general review, please include the following:
- A exhibition CV.
- A general artist statement (250 word max).
- Up to 20 images no larger than 1200px on the longest dimension.
- An image checklist with title of the work, date, process, and size.
- A one-page (500 word max) description of your project proposal.
- Please attach all materials as a self-contained PDF saved for Smallest File Size.
- Include a link to your website (if applicable).
Do not send prints or originals. Only digital submissions submitted via email will be accepted. Postal submissions will not be reviewed.

There is no deadline for submission, and proposals are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please email your work attached as a single PDF file titled as follows: LastName_FirstName_Year.pdf to
submissions@cepagallery.org
