BIO: Brendan Bannon is a documentary photographer whose work has been featured in the New York Times, Time, CNN, the Daily Telegraph and other international publications. His clients include Doctors Without Borders, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and CARE. Bannon has photographed in Kenya, South Sudan, Somalia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Tanzania, Congo, and India. He has been living and working as a photojournalist in Africa since 2005, based in Nairobi, Kenya. When not in Africa, Bannon resides in the Buffalo area. His work has been exhibited at the United Nations headquarters in New York, Geneva, and Rome. His recent project www.dailydispatches.org was exhibited at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, the Quick Center for the Arts at Saint Bonaventure University, and at Bakersfield College in California. www.brendanbannon.com
