BIO: Rhea Anna is a Buffalo native artist whose work involves both fine art and commercial photography. Her commissioned projects include advertising campaigns for the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Central Park Conservancy, Johnson’s, M&T Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY, Chateau St. Jean; music packaging for Ani DiFranco and Righteous Babe Records; and book covers for Miramax. Her work is represented by SIDECAR. www.rheaanna.com

STATEMENT: Every fall I watch the darkening skies and listen for the sounds of crows gathering. Their sound is ominous, as is their presence and the quality of the air that surrounds them. Multiple frames are captured and composited to recreate the feeling of watching the crows take flight.
