Smartphone Photo & Video for Entrepreneurs

For those who don’t have a budget for a fancy camera, guess what? One of the most powerful capturing tools could be right in your purse or your back pocket! This 5 day virtual course will take you on a creative journey and will teach entrepreneurs how to capture stories, enhance, and share images/video in order to support engagement on social media. Students will also explore a variety of free and low cost applications that can support editing images and video right on your phone.
One of the common photo/video misconceptions about using a phone’s camera is that the phone can’t be used for serious photography or video. While cameras are technically superior, the quality of any photo mostly depends on the photographer’s intent and creative vision. No camera can take a good photo without the photographer’s ideas. That’s because your phone – just like any other camera – is a tool. And it’s a tool that can be used to take both poor and outstanding photos. But with the right knowledge and the right techniques you can use your phone to take photos/videos that tell stories that nobody would even believe they were taken with your phone!
